Our Story

25 Years of Swing Set Installation

The Swingset Guy is a family-owned business that has sold, delivered, leveled and professionally installed residential swing sets and playsets across the Midwest since 1995. Every advertised price includes delivery, ground leveling and one-day installation by trained in-house crews, never third-party subcontractors. The Swingset Guy serves homeowners within a 50 mile radius of each of its five home offices in Wixom, Michigan; Indianapolis, Indiana; Lafayette, Indiana; Normal, Illinois; and Kenosha, Wisconsin. The Swingset Guy also installs swing sets customers already own and relocates existing sets. No payment is due until installation is complete and inspected by the homeowner.

Now our installation services have grown to reach Central Indiana, Northwest Indiana, Central Illinois, and Southeast Michigan.

Meet the Swingset Guy

The Midwest’s Swing Set Provider and Installer

Scott Ice is high school administrator with a B.S. in Math Education and a M.A. in Christian School Management and Finances. So how is an educator your expert swing set installer? Back in 1995 Scott and a fellow colleague used their construction background and their soft skills as an educator to start a business building swing sets, decks, and other various outdoor projects.

Now, 25 years later, Scott has trained a team of dozens of other educators to build swing sets. The team has built over 1000 swing sets throughout the Midwest. All Swingset Guy installers are experienced not only in their specific fields of education, but also swing set installation.
